V Zlatem hrčku uporabljamo edinstveno metodo poučevanja, sestavljeno iz več komponent:

Vzajemna pomoč
Razvili smo učinkovito metodo za ustvarjanje čvrste in hkrati sproščene skupinske atmosfere, zaradi katere je učenje bolj učinkovito in hkrati bolj zabavno. Kajti v šolo bi morali hoditi ne samo zaradi osvajanja znanj, temveč tudi zaradi spoznavanja sebe in drugih.

Ustno ustvarjanje
Najpomembnejša je ustvarjalnost!
Jezik je ustvarjalni proces! Zato v naši šoli vzpodbujamo in razvijamo učenje in rabo besed, stavkov, besedil in dialogov kot neke vrste umetniško ustvarjanje.

UČBENIKI NISO POTREBNI!
Pisati se učimo po tem, ko smo se naučili govoriti. Kakor pri učenju maternega jezika se tudi v naši šoli najprej naučimo govoriti, šele nato pisati. Zato se v razredu ves čas predvsem pogovarjamo in kdor si želi delati zapiske, si jih lahko, kdor pa ne, pa prav tako.

Individualiziran načrt učenja
Delo v tečaju je prirejeno individualnim potrebam tečajnika, ki tečaj obiskuje vsak dan. Zaradi tega je zelo pomembna dobra organiziranost in osebna komunikacija med tečajnikom in učiteljem. Samo tako lahko najbolje izkoristimo čas, ki nam je na voljo.

Popolna odsotnost tekmovalnosti, rivalstva, ocen, domačih nalog in preizkusov znanja
V Zlatem hrčku ne ocenjujemo, pripravljamo živce parajočih izpitov ali karkoli drugega podobno zamudnega. V Zlatem hrčku verjamemo svojim tečajnikom, da se želijo učiti, ker jih to iskreno veseli in naša naloga je ohraniti in vzpodbujati radost učenja. Zato v Zlatem hrčku ne podeljujemo nazivov, diplom ali kaj podobnega. Naš končni „izdelek” je vešča in samozavestna raba jezika.

We have developed an effective method to build a solid and happy group atmosphere in classes that makes learning more effective and enjoyable. After all, we should go to school not only to learn a subject but also to know oneself and others better.

Oral production
Creativity is the priority!
Language is a creative process. From words and sentences, to texts and dialogs, all will be encouraged and developed as a type of artistic endeavor.

NO TEXTBOOKS of any kind are necessary.
Writing comes after speaking. Just like your own mother tongue, you first spoke it, and then wrote it. Same here. The whole class will be constantly speaking. Students who want to jot down notes sure can. People who don’t want to, can do that too.

Personalized curriculum
Coursework is personally designed for the students attending class each day. This makes good organization and communication essential between the students and teacher, allowing the greatest benefit from class time.

Complete absence of competition, rivalry, grades, homework and tests
Zlati Hrček does not need to give grades nor exams nor anything nerve-wracking and time-consuming. We trust that students want to learn because they are happy to do so. Our job is to both protect and enhance this joy of learning. Zlati Hrček delivers no degrees, nor diplomas nor anything of the sort. Our final product is a more competent and confident use of language.
